| TROODOS MOUNTAINS |
| The Troodos mountains is one of the most beautiful places of Cyprus. Covered by pine-forests they stretch for almost 80 km from the east to the west. The highest point of the Cyprus - mt. Olympus (1951 m) is located here. Average temperature in the mountains is below than on the plain part of the island. Moreover the mountain climate is damper. From January to March Troodos mountains are covered by snow so that you even can ski. Exactly here first Cypriot resorts were built. |
