Usually islands are clouded with some haze of romanticism.
From our childhood we feel their attractive force.
And if alien water spaces extend for hundred miles around,
then it seems to be a sort of a flight among stars, where
loneliness and beauty of the world so divinely close to each other!
In this section we collect links to photos of islands which
are very far from both continents and from other habitable islands.
Some of them has permanent settlements (as the Easter island does, for instance),
some are visited by people casually.
