Johnston island memories This web-site dedicated to people who served in Johnston Atoll (in 2001 the US military base was closed, the atoll began to clean from radioactive and chemical waste to be a wildlife refuge). Here are over 60 pictures of the island life, mostly it's views of the military base but there are also landscapes and underwater photos. It was interesting to read history of this far island. |
